Where’s Your Focus?
Brent preaches on John 18:15-27 and uses Peter's example to show us that our efforts to save ourselves are useless. It is only through repentance that we can bring our sin to the light of Jesus and see it for what it is. Repentance is unreachable for us if our focus is not solely on Jesus.

    Who Is Like Yahweh?
Chris preaches on the final sermon for the series on the book of Micah (whose name means "Who is Like Yahweh").  He spends some time on explaining how other so-called gods and religious systems are not at all like Yahweh.  The question, who is like Yahweh?,  is meant to be rhetorical because no one is!  No one matches His wisdom, power, justice, mercy, love, and grace.  His attributes are best displayed in the perfect representation of the human life - the life of Jesus.

Acting Justly, Loving Mercy, and Walking Humbly with Our God
Chris preaches on one of the most quoted scriptures in the Old Testament.  Many focus on acting justly, loving mercy, and walking humbly with God as simply the right thing to do.  But how do we achieve what God is asking of us?  This message dives into our motivation for serving God and how only the right motivation creates a sustainable Christian walk.

From Sin’s Captivity to the Exodus Jesus Provides – into the Kingdom
Chris preaches on Micah Chapter 2.  The people of Judah were anything by humble during Micah's time of prophesying and after generations of disobedience, God instructed Micah to prophesy judgment to the people.  Yet, there was still hope.  In the end of the 2nd chapter, we find that there is a double fulfillment coming, with the second pointing to Jesus' ministry.

Are You Grieved By the Sinful Culture and World Around You and the Suffering That Results?
Chris preaches on the difficult passages of the second half of Micah 1.  Micah was speaking to the people of his own community - his neighbors.  Imagine if you replaced the city names with cities near you and that it was your generation that was receiving this judgment.  How should you respond?
