Yielding to the Will of God
By: Chris Bender
When you follow Christ and have the gift of the Holy Spirit, you feel Him prompting you toward God's perfect will (both in the little and the big things). Yet with the pull of our desires and the temptations of the enemy, we so often go in another direction. Chris preaches on examples in scripture where many rejected God's will and contrasts with Jesus who was the only one who ever followed God's will in everything.

Mar 3, 2024The King Ushers in the New CovenantBy: Chris BenderThe Kingdom of God took a massive step forward as Jesus met with His disciples for the Passover meal. The significance of that meal was fulfilled in a way that they did not expect. Now imagine this: You've been in ministry for multiple years with your disciples and you've known all along that one of them would betray you. Chris preaches on the inauguration of the New Covenant, the beginning of Jesus' passion (suffering), and the judgment foretold of His betrayer.

One of the schemes of the enemy is to isolate Christians and keep them from regular encouragement and edifying fellowship from their brothers and sisters in Christ. Pride and the enemy’s lies tempt us that we're better off alone. Chris preaches on how the scriptures and the Holy Spirit guide us toward regular fellowship and how the church is not a building but a family of people who follow their Lord and Savior... Jesus Christ.

Feb 11, 2024Equipping for Kingdom BattlesBy: Chris BenderOh, how our life would change in an instant if we could see the spiritual realm! With the exception of a few cases in all of scripture, humans are not given the ability to see in the spiritual realm. However, we are involved in spiritual battles daily, just the same. Chris preaches on the danger of entering into daily battle against the forces of darkness without being adequately equipped. We need to be aware of what God has provided for both offense and defense and to use all for God's Kingdom and His glory.

Feb 4, 2024Be Wary of the Kingdom’s Enemy and His DevicesBy: Chris BenderThese days there tends to be one extreme or the other: A profound interest in the sensational aspect of the satanic or demonic, or just writing it off as though there's no such thing. The scriptures guide us to a better way. The enemy of the Kingdom, Satan, is someone who accuses and uses subtle devices to tempt. Chris preaches on the importance of being wary of Satan's devices and to yield to the direction of the Holy Spirit so that we can live a life that is faithfully following Jesus.
